Seville, Spain- Tottenham fans fought police during a
UEFA Cup match in Spain on Thursday, the second straight day of
incidents around English fans in European football.
The Spurs fans ripped up seats in the Seville stadium after the
Spanish side scored a first-half equalizer on a disputed penalty,
hurling them at the police which had to step in in riot gear.

The disturbances lasted into the halftime break and there were
also reports of clashes ahead of the match outside the stadium.

The previous day, Manchester United fans clashed with Roma fans
ahead of their Champions League match in Rome, with further trouble
during halftime in the Manchester fan section.

The ruling body UEFA on Thursday launched an investigation into
the Rome events.
