Scores hurt in teargas prank in German school

Kirchzarten, Germany- A teargas prank in a school in
Germany's Black Forest region on Thursday caused injury to more than
70 pupils, police reported.
Emergency services took 32 pupils to hospital and treated a
further 40 at the scene in the small town of Kirchzarten.

Police arrested a 16-year-old boy in connection with the attack
but did not say what the motive might have been.

The teargas was released in a passageway between two adjacent
schools in the town of some 10,000 inhabitants in south-western
Germany.
