Glagow takes women's sprint in Lahti

Lahti, Finland- Martina Glagow of Germany produced flawless
shooting to take victory Friday in a women's 7.5-kilometre biathlon
World Cup sprint in Lahti.
Germans completely dominated the event, occupying four of the top
six places as Glagow won in a time of 21 minutes 18.3 seconds to
register her first World Cup win of the season.

Compatriot Kati Wilhelm also produced perfect shooting to claim
second place, four seconds behind Glagow. The result sees Wilhelm
take the lead in both the sprint and overall World Cup standings.

Ekaterina Iourieva of Russia also hit 10 out of 10 targets to take
third spot, 5.9 seconds behind Glagow.
