Expert: McCain, Romney body language shows lingering 'disconnect' between them A body language expert shared her unique knowledge with Bill O'Reilly on topics ranging from Mitt Romney's endorsement on John McCain to Jane Fonda's dirty mouth.
Scaling new heights of punditry, the Fox News host and expert Tonya Reiman discussed the deep dark secrets betrayed by public figures' fidgeting. Reiman divined that there might be some lingering bad blood between McCain and Romney, who appeared together last week.
"It wasn't just the blinking, did you notice how much fidgeting there was," Reiman asks "It's almost as if [McCain] becomes self awaare and doesn't know what to do with his body. ... Thats because there's still this disconnect between the two, so because of that he's thinking in the back of his mind, 'Hmm, what can I do to look normal and natural?' and he can't."
She also suggested Romney might have just been pushing platitudes in handing McCain his endorsement.
Romney "covered himself up, he closed his body language when he first said, 'I'm honored today,' ... so maybe he's not," Reiman surmised.
Moving on to Jane Fonda's recent utterance of the word cunt in a recent Today Show appareance, Reiman surmised that the actress was not bothered by the word some consider to be offensive.
"She was not worried about this at all," Reiman said. "She said it and just didn't break stride."
