Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada spoke to the Democratic National Convention in Denver Wednesday evening.
Reid focused primarily on the Republican candidate Senator John McCain's push for offshore drilling. Quoting T. Boone Pickens, Reid said 'We can't drill our way out of this crisis.'
The Nevada Senator then took a poke at John McCain when he said that although no one quite knows what the effects upon the coastlines and oceans from oil drilling would be, 'Kindly old Doc McCain would like to sell it to ya anyway.'
