Ladies and gentlemen, the Turd Blossom has re-entered the building.

On the morning of Super Tuesday, Fox News is running commercials announcing that Karl Rove was joining its "Team Washington."

"He knows it all like no one else," the Fox commercial noted about Rove.

Rove resigned from his White House post in August 2007, and had long been a lightning rod for controversy. Some sources suggested that the man known colloquially as "Bush's brain" has signed on with Fox to help sell his forthcoming memoir.

"The decision to join Fox News could be a move by Mr. Rove to get back into the public spotlight, particularly after an action for his memoir took over two months to generate a winning bid," noted Crain's New York Business on Tuesday.

Rove reportedly did not receive the $3 million he had sought for the memoir.

Some commentators said Fox wasn't getting its money's worth with Rove.

"The man micromanaged one of the least popular presidencies of the last hundred years, parlayed untold goodwill and love into worldwide scorn, and also lost two of Bush's most important elections. Namely the 2006 midterms and, oh right, Bush's initial election itself," noted Gawker's Alex Pareene. "The only people who still think Karl Rove is some sort of brilliant political mind are semi-literate Kos commenters. And Roger Ailes, apparently."

The Fox promo can be viewed below.
