Fox News suspicious that Bush to be played in film by Streisand stepson
Oliver Stone, the Oscar-winning director of JFK and Nixon, has announced that his next film will be about George W. Bush. Bush will focus on the president's wild youth, his relationship with his father, and his embrace of Christianity.
Stone has been a critic of the Iraq War, but he insists his movie will offer a "fair, true portrait of Bush." Bush will be played by Josh Brolin, who Stone argues projects the right kind of swagger, even though he looks nothing like Bush.
Although other networks took the announcement of Stone's project at face value, the hosts of Fox & Friends seized upon the fact that Josh Brolin's father is married to Barbra Streisand, suggesting sarcastically that this made it hard to believe the film was "not a hit piece." They went on to describe Bush as "pretty hot" and complain that he had never come on their show.
