In the video clip below, Stephen Colbert joins the chorus of reaction to controversial radio show host Don Imus, who was suspended after a racial remark made in jest last week.

Colbert's comedic take involves him spoofing Imus' remark. He reveals he moonlights as the host of a radio show, Colbert on the Ert, on which he made comments that landed him in hot water.

"I'm sure you all heard about the trouble I got into last week with my so-called 'ethnic slurs,' which I believe were just ethnic facts coupled with ethnic nicknames," quipped Colbert. He then shows a video clip of his "alter ego" ranting on Hungarians, calling them "paprika-snorting ghoulies."
