Paper erroneously reports Gore to join Democratic debate
The San Diego Union-Tribune incorrectly reported today that former Vice President Albert Gore would be joining the CNN Democratic debate tonight at St. Anselm College in New Hampshire.
"The eight announced Democratic presidential candidates and Al Gore, who is undeclared, will face off in a televised debate at 4 p.m. today," wrote the paper on their website, under the headline: "Gore joins today's Democratic debate."
Neither the official debate site at CNN, nor Al Gore's official website made any such announcement. Al Gore is currently not a declared candidate for president.
