Military: Training mission to blame for UFO sightings Has the mystery been solved? Or not?
For the past two weeks the dairy community of Stephenville has been abuzz over reported UFO sightings.
But now, the Air Force Reserve says 10 of its fighter jets were training in that area on the night many residents reported seeing strange lights in the sky.
The military initially said none of its planes were in that area the night of Jan. 8, but now officials say they made a mistake.
Dozens of people described seeing unusual lights on a large object that moved much faster and lower than an airplane.
