13 Iraqis killed, 37 wounded in Baghdad market bomb

Baghdad- At least 13 Iraqis were killed and over 30 were
wounded Friday in a blast in central Baghdad, private Voices of
Iraq agency reported, citing an Iraqi police source.
An explosive device detonated in central Baghdad's Ghazl market,
the report added.
The explosion occurred just before the weekly curfew in Baghdad.
All victims were Iraqi civilians. The market, which sells pets, is
one of the oldest in Iraq.
Meanwhhile, Al-Jazeera news network reported Friday that the death
toll came to 25 in a blast in the Karrada district of Baghdad on
Thursday.
At least 100 others were injured Thursday when a suicide bomber
drove his explosives-laden vehicle into the central Baghdad district
targeting a police patrol.
