Warsaw- The Warsaw government said Saturday it is studying reports about Taliban warnings ahead of the sending of 900 Polish forces to Afghanistan. "This kind of information appears in the internet, but nothing serious happens," said Prime Minister Jarozlaw Kaczynski.
A Defence Ministry spokesman stressed that such threats would have no influence on the plans for Poland to help strengthen the ISAF forces.
The comments came as the daily Zycie Warszawy reported that the Taliban, in a warning published on a Chechen rebel website, had warned Poland against sending troops.
