US military announce killing of soldier in Tikrit

Baghdad- The US military announced Sunday that a US soldier assigned to an engineering division was killed in Tikrit, 180 kilometres north of Baghdad, Saturday. Another US soldier was wounded and transported to a coalition forces' hospital, the statement from the military said.
