Olofsson clinches third World Cup win to extend biathlon lead

Pokljuka, Slovenia- Sweden's Anna Carin Olofsson earned her third biathlon victory of the season in the 7.5-kilometre sprint Wednesday to extend her World Cup lead. The Olympic champion picked up one penalty round to finish in 21 minutes 45.2 seconds, 6.8 seconds ahead of the Tatina Moiseeva (no misses), while Germany's Kati Wilhelm was 17.4 seconds behind (one miss) in third place.

Olofsson moves on to 432 points, ahead of Wilhelm on 410 and Norway's Linda Grubben on 382.
