Just a quick note since I'd gotten a few emails about this. I linked to a story which asserted that Israelis were evacuated before the Amman blasts yesterday, a report in the Israeli newspaper Haaretz. Haaretz is a reliable, largely balanced paper. They get the stories right.
Apparently, this time they didn't. The first edition of the story was changed to something completely the opposite, and of course, since once I put a story up I don't click through to see if it changed, I had left up a link with an older headline without knowing the root story had changed.
Thanks for your understanding. Unfortunately, we can't predict when other papers will change their stories overnight.

Haaretz updated their story to read: "The Israelis were escorted back to Israel by Jordanian security personnel only after the attacks had taken place, contrary to earlier reports."
