Numerous users have complained of page loading issues with regard to RAW STORY. We have taken your concerns to one of our advertising providers, BlogAds.com, which is working to speed repairs.
The problem was that that a server handling BlogAds had trouble with DNS propagation -- e.g., in many areas of the world, the server does not come up, which means that the RAW STORY page often won't load until it either finds the ads or times out.
If you haven't experienced this problem, or it has passed, you're in the clear, and this message doesn't apply to you.

BlogAds tells us that this problem should be eliminated over the next several days as the computers that manage the flow of Internet traffic update their DNS registries. Usually, such changes take up to 48 hours, though this one seems to have now carried into a third day.
As you can imagine, we are dependent on advertising for revenue and because roughly 85 percent of users are having no trouble seeing the page, we can't take the ads off.
If you still continue to experience this problem at the end of the week, please shoot me an email at john@rawstory.com.
