Firm acquires rights to Muhammad Ali name for $50m
Licensing firm CKX Inc. announced it has acquired an 80% interest in the name, image, likeness and all other rights of publicity of boxing legend Muhammad Ali, after a payment of $50 million to the Ali Trust, the Wall Street Journal reports in Tuesday papers. Excerpts:
