if true, consider: "Sheikh Omar Saeed was arrested by Pakistani police on February 12, 2002, in Lahore, in conjunction with the Pearl kidnapping. He told the Pakistani court, however, that he had surrendered to the Inter-Services Intelligence Agency a week earlier." - so this would have happened before Feb 2002, unless he was let out on work-release.

What are your sources? WE KNOW Muhsarraf is, because the US Govt. tells us what a great guy he is. But, please, educate me as to your source for this comment. Its long been known that OBL has not been seen in public since late 2001, after he gave interviews to the pakistani media.The late Bhutto is on solid grounds in asserting that OBL is dead...but why say 'murdered'? Did she mean OBL or someone else?

Hi Dan, just to clarify my understanding... I thought it was Saeed Sheikh (Omar Sheikh) that did the actual $100000 transfer to Atta. BUT.. Ahmed was the one who gave Omar Sheikh the order to transfer it. Amazing how the 9/11 commission felt the funding of the operation was not worth investigating.

On the topic of Terrorists... US Terrorist Training School
America has it's own terrorist training camp that teaches people to kill, torture and terrorize. It used to be called the SOA (School of the Americas) and was closed down, re-opening in a different name, "Whisc". It is based in Fort Benning, Georgia. and although on the service (on their website) they mention peace-keeping and human rights - their pupils have turned out to be murderers running paramilitary groups involved in massacres. It's graduates account for many of the continent's most notorious torturers, mass-murderers, dictators and state terrorists. - In 1996, the US govt was forced to release 7 of the school's training manuals, manuals that recommended blackmail, torture, execution and the arrest of witnesses' relatives. - Last year, partly as a result of the campaign run by SOA Watch, a few US congressmen tried to shut the school down.
