Too bad we cannot ask the 250 million people killed in the last 1400 years by the followers of the religion of peace what their opinion might be on this matter.

Religion of Peace
I don't know how many people have lost their lives because of christian fundamentalists or christians in general but I would not call that religion a religion of peace either. We can't ask the Indians who were killed in what is now Mexico, we can't ask any of the people murdered "to advance christian values" among the savages. It's always bad when some "patriotic creatures" try to hide behind crimes committed by others. How long ago did the christian settlers massacre natives in North America (in Brasil it still happens!), when did the christian settlers stop murdering Aborigines in Australia? Even WWII can be seen as part of this. Adolf more than once called his war a war against the Asian hordes. How many Jews were murdered by christians because other christians refused to save them? Islamophobia is something that christofascists suffer from a lot. They use it as a cover to hide their own (unchristian) mentality.

Looks like Bush/Fox barrage of misinformation to incite Islamophobia is not having the desired effect. The only ones falling for this crap seem to be the already shit-scared racist xenophobes of the Goode kind.

it was the religious the killed off the native Americans
Why should we not be killed off as well? Do we deserve to be treated ant differently then we have treated the rest of mankind? Do we not deserve to die for what we have done in the name of religion? Only a christian could answer anything other than "yes, we deserve to die". They are so much better then any other peoples. Just ask them. Under the guise of their Good Book, they can commit any number of crimes and be forgiven for it. But how can they be forgiven for slavery, for the extermination of the Native Americans and the Crusades? They can't, and they should know it by now. When their judgement day comes and they pray for their sins, they will be ignored the same as Satan is. Their crimes can't be washed away that easily. They may think their foolish little book is the final word, but it is mankind that will have the final say as to their character, or lack there of. All their lies and their cheating ways will come back to haunt them in the end.

Ah, naive people, gotta love it. The reality is, in 50 or so years, global warming will be in full effect, rendering much of the world's current arable, human supporting land either underwater or desert. The predicted population in 2050 is going to be around 9.1 billion, the increase attributed to the out of control breeding cycle of third world nations. Where will all these people go when their nations are desert or at the bottom of the sea? If these people can't make heads or tails of farmland when it's still fertile, what are they going to do with it when it's desert? Already, impromptu sharia law courts have been found operating in London. France's suburbs are no go zones for whites or even police. Mexicans want to forceably take over the United States. Every year, thousands of Africans attempt to illegally enter Europe, sailing over on makeshift boats. The culture clash is not about to get started, it is well underway. Today, resources are still abundant. Clean water runs from your tap when you turn it on, and grocery stores are well stocked. Elbow space is expensive, but still available. Think about a world where these things are not so, then ask yourself not if, but when will conflict finally erupt.

WWII
I'm sure that in 1930s most people rejected the idea of going to war against the nazis. Nobody wants to get involved in an existential struggle, but like the nazis, the islamofascists have brought the fight to us and we can't just stand back and let them overrun the western civilization. If you take a look at the horrific problems they've got with the muslim immigrants in Europe, you can see where such politics of appeasement lead to.

It IS a clash of civiliztions that began when Dubya invaded Iraq. Other than buying oil from them, the US should just self protect and get the hell out of the middle east. At best, they are zealot barbarians with a very strong death wish. We are doing Prince Bandar's of Saudi Arabia, dirty work FOR him. He has the president's ear and trust. Create chaos and Bandar gets the spoils. US blood for Saudi riches. There's the deal.

A massive killdown is coming and the power elite are staging it. The enemy is the masses, 911 was an inside job and JR. will have to come back in a body bag end of story.

sally: "when Bush invaded Iraq". So we should have left Saddam there so that he could kept on torturing and killing his people and developing nuclear weapons so that the islamofascists could have hit us again - only this time with a nuke instead of planes. It may look bad now, but history will judge GWB kindly.

fenria: excellent post. The coming fight for water, food, western civilization and fertile land will be unlike anything like we've seen before. High technology versus masses of savages.

Well, as Dubya would say, it don't matter what the polls say. It don't matter what people around the world think. It don't matter what 70% of Americans think. What matters is what the heads of Exxon/Mobil and Chevron think. It's Bush's job to make up whatever story line it takes to provide them cover and to apply whatever American blood and treasure it takes to their cause.

This is true, ask the French police, they will agree, or the innocents in Darfur, or non-islamic people in Indonesia or Thailand, they will agree!

It would be great if this was not a CLASH OF CIVILIZATIONS, but it is hard to believe. Lets not forget the Islomo have been attacking us for 20 years (really since the USA and UN stole the land that is not Israel.) The way I see this is there are multiple options here, but two seem to stand out. 1) We kill them all. Every single Muslim that does not renounce evil. 2) We walk away from Israel and let the Muslims take back their HOLY LAND. Of Course option 2 will never happen and Israel has Nuclear weapons and will use them prior to Iran developing any. It is a matter of time. And for the jerk off preparing for the damnation of the world because of global warming in 50 years, get educated jerk nut. Even the wack jobs at the UN are claiming the effects of Global Warming will not be for several HUNDRED years. Now while I care about the earth, I have to believe we will be further along technology wise in 5 hundred years.
