Following the below report, Fox News has mostly restored its original text on a group of children who sang a song about the president.
As of this writing at 10:05 a.m. CST, the latest iteration of the Fox News story is once again reporting that the school was placed on "lockdown" due to "death threats" against the principal. The republished story also carries a dissenting opinion by one of the kids' mothers, whose comments had been removed from a prior version.
Another addition: the network now charges that the children were signing the song to the tune of "Jesus loves the little children."

UPDATE 2: Callers outraged at Obama 'indoctrination' video complain to wrong school; NJ school tells RAW no 'lockdown'
The outpouring of anger over a video of children singing about President Obama has spilled onto a similarly-named school in Arkansas, according to published reports.
KFSM 5 News in Fayetteville, Arkansas reports:
Bernice Young Elementary School in Springdale has been taking angry calls from all over the country from people upset about a You Tube video of B. Bernice Young school kids singing about President Barack Obama. There's only one problem: it wasn't the Springdale Bernice Young students doing the singing.
Debbie Flora , principal of the school in Arkansas, told the Associated Press that some of the people who have called "did not use very kind language."
Meanwhile, an operator at the head office of the B. Bernice Young Elementary School in New Jersey told RAW STORY on Friday morning that reports claiming the school was on "lockdown" after receiving "death threats" are "not true."
"It is not true that the school was on lockdown and I'm not aware of any threats," a woman with the school's head office said. Asked her name, she replied, "My name is Ann," then hung up.
A message was left with the school district's public relations officer for confirmation.
However, a New Jersey newspaper reported Friday morning that a school safety director insists officers found the report of "death threats" against the principal to be "unsubstantiated." Yet, a local Fox affiliate station claims police "confirmed" the threats, but would not specify their target(s).
In the early hours of Sept. 25, The Burlington County Times reported:
Public Safety Director Walt Corter said police also investigated reports that threats were made against the school district because of the video and found that they were unsubstantiated. "We will continue to work with the school, as we do daily to ensure student safety," Corter said.
MyFoxPhilly, an affiliate station, reported that police had "confirmed" on Thursday that threats were leveled, though "[they] did not say who or what was targeted." The station added:
On Friday morning, there was a larger than normal police presence at the school. Two police vehicles were parked in front of the entrance, and another officer was assisting a crossing guard nearby as national media crews descended on the quaint Central Jersey neighborhood.
In a separate MyFoxPhilly report, the school district outright refuted the claim of death threats, alleging that it had originated with a New Jersey radio station.
In the second letter, the superintendent refutes reports he says were aired by a New Jersey radio station that the elementary school is in lockdown and there's a heavy police presence.
"This is NOT true," the district's second letter states. "Our children are safe and our school resource officer is present to assist the administration with this matter."
The superintendent's letter adds, "You may call my office with questions; however, we are currently receiving high call volume and may not be able to answer your call promptly."
Fox 29's calls to the superintendent and principal have not been returned.
A female who answered the phone at the Burlington Township police department refused to answer any questions or reroute the call to the public information officer. She instead directed inquiries to the school district's statement on the matter. "That's all I can do for you, sir," she said repeatedly.
The school district says it plans a review of the events leading up to and including the song and officials have expressed outrage that a video of its underage students would have been published on the Internet, apparently without parental consent.

In a story about a group of elementary school kids who sang the praises of President Barack Obama for a Black History Month event, Fox News appears to have removed key information regarding the reaction to intense right-wing media coverage.
The story, titled "Elementary School Students Taught to Sing Praises of President Obama" (Update: text at live link has been altered | screenshot of edited text), opens with these three paragraphs:
The superintendent of a New Jersey school where students were videotaped being taught to sing the praises of President Obama issued a statement Thursday saying the taping was unauthorized, but failed to address whether the the lesson -- taught durnig [sic] Black History Month -- was approved.
A YouTube video shows nearly 20 young children being led in a song overflowing with campaign slogans and praise for "Barack Hussein Obama," repeatedly chanting the president's name and celebrating his accomplishments, including his "great plans" to "make this country's economy No. 1 again."
The video has set off families in Burlington, N.J., who say that politics shouldn't be forced on young students.
The credited author on that URL is "FoxNews.com," although a tag under the text reads, "FOX News' Michael Sorrentino contributed to this report."
But, that's not how it read when we first saw it.
At the very same URL linked above, a prior version told a very different and much longer story. Here's how it began on Thursday night, with emphasis added (Update: text at cache link has changed | screenshot of restored text, as of Sept. 25):
Some parents in a New Jersey school district are up in arms after a class of elementary school students was videotaped singing the praises of President Obama, an activity that has been criticized as "indoctrination."
The tension at B. Bernice Young Elementary School escalated to such a degree Thursday that the school was placed temporarily on lockdown after its principal received death threats over a YouTube video that showed nearly 20 children being taught songs lauding the president, though back-to-school night events continuing as planned Thursday night at the school.
Video of the students at the Burlington, N.J., school shows them singing songs seemingly overflowing with campaign slogans and praise for "Barack Hussein Obama," repeatedly chanting the president's name and celebrating his accomplishments, including his "great plans" to "make this country's economy No. 1 again."
Clearly, information about death threats leveled against the school's principal, and the school's "lockdown" response following wide exposure among right-wing media, were removed.
When RAW STORY stumbled across this significant edit, no school officials were available to confirm the threats. A follow-up is planned during business hours.
The story also appears to be significantly shortened and comments by one of the kids' mothers, who took an opinion contrary to others expressing outrage, were deleted outright. Paragraphs nine through 11 in the first published version read:
But Andrea Ciemnolonski, the parent of another one of the students in the video, said the song was part of a second-grade project on a variety of topics related to the month of February, such as Groundhog Day, Valentine's Day and Presidents Day.
"They did songs about President Washington, Lincoln, and they did do one about President Obama," Ciemnolonski said. "My daughter was in the class that did the songs about Obama. It was black history month. ... It was something for the kids to celebrate."
Ciemnolonski said she "just can't look at it as indoctrination," though she added, "The comparisons made were a little exuberant."
The first published version, as saved by Google, also credits "FoxNews.com" as the story's author, but a tag mentions two contributors instead of one: FoxNews.com writer Cristina Corbin and Fox News contributor Michael Sorrentino.
Furthermore, Google's search pages shows the very same result, as illustrated in the image below.

Who edited this piece? Why was FoxNews.com writer Cristina Corbin's credit removed? Did the principal really receive death threats, or was that inclusion in the second paragraph erroneous? And perhaps most important, why would an allegedly "fair and balanced" media organization censor highly relevant comments offering a contrasting opinion?

Well, before anyone starts singing the praises of President Obama, I think first he needs to actually accomplish something as president worthy of song or praise. So far...not very much to praise or sing about--unfortunately.
That said, our president is not a king and certainly not a diety. If praises must be sung by our children, let's have them praise and sing of freedom, liberty and justice for all, our Constitution, the equality of men, etc., but let's not have our children lift a mere president, a mortal being (a fucking politician for god sakes) to the status of a god through song. The school principlal or whomever may say that the release of the video was unathorized, but they intentionally won't deal with what they should be dealing with and what someone should be fired over: was making those kids sing at that official school event authorized? Parents authorize their kids to participate in something like this, not the principlal or whomever at the school.
And the school has said that it was for black history month, i.e, official.
Was there any opt out for parents who did not want their kids to have to worship Obama?
More important than that, were the parents even told in the first place?
But the school intentionally deflects away from the attention being placed upon them by saying that the video's release was not authorized.
If the parents weren't told, it wouldn't surprise me at all. Schools officials can be quite arrogant, thinking that they know better than the parents, when they more often than not don't know squat.

think people have gone away from the issues here.
1) The parents did not know their children where singing this song and the school should have asked for parental permission first: I am a parent of a high school senior. My son's school has had several concerts/presentation and I do not remember the school tell me ahead of time what they were going to sing. In fact one year all the songs they sang were in foreign languages.
2) These parents are outraged: Obviously parents were invited to attend as the one who took the video was a parent. Why are the outraged now in September when the concert was in February. If the children were learning the song didn't they sing it around the house? Mine does.
3) What are we teaching in school? First who the current President of the United States of America is. So many children can not name the President and Vice President and that is pitiful. Second that race does not matter. This is so important to teach our young children. Third they have been taught to have faith in the leader of the Greatest nation in the world that dispite the economic state- there is hope that we will rise from it.
I am not a political person, I fact I am an Army soldier of 23 year. Who has proudly defended this nation and others against oppression. "WE" the people of the United States of America vote for the President (maybe not you or I but "WE" as a nation of one). My forefathers and yours have fought for the freedoms, rights and liberties that we talk about today. Teaching our children about the history of today and yesterday is not bad. If singing a song is how the education system finds to be the best retention method than great. I agree keep politics out of the school- President Obama is history, the economy is history, the first black President is history. As far as the Principals comments: I think we need to be upset not that the children sang but that someone posted 20 innocent childrens faces on the internet without permission and that the media has also repeated posted these childrens faces. That outside factors- the national media, non city/county and state residents and others are getting involved and jeopadizing the safety and welfare of their children.

Well now, does that not beg the question regarding “Black History Month”? I feel that any race based television station, (Black Entertainment Channel), magazine, (Jet, Ebony), awards, (Black Entertainment Awards), or holiday, (Black History Month), has no place in a country trying to address these kinds of race based issues. Lets turn the tables and see how it sounds when we say “White Entertainment Awards”, “Ivory Magazine”, "White History Month". Does it sound more racist to say "white" over "black" in these instances? Why is that?
There is a serious double standard in this country and until this kind of crap is addressed, we will always have issues with racism on both sides of color.

After looking into this and calling the "Office of Complaints and Controversy" at the NJ Dept. of Education, it appears that these complaints are being handled by the Chief of Staff - 609-292-4432 - of that department.
I would urge every parent, tax payer, etc. who does not think our children should be indoctrinated like those children in the videos about in the mid 1990's of Saddam Hussein being serenaded by school children about how great he is...

Presuming you mean our money? It first appeared in 1864 on coins because of letters sent during the Civil War; almost 90 years after the country was founded (1776).
It became part of the National Motto in 1956, during the cold war.
The original Pledge of Allegieance didn't have the words "under God", either. In fact, Congress added that in 1954, also during the cold war. It was added under protest by the daughter of the man who wrote it, saying her father would be appalled to have the language added.

I'm not sure which "constitution" you are looking at, but there is NO reference whatsoever to God, or even "in God we trust" in the Constitution. Perhaps you are thinking of US currency instead, which does contain "in God we trust." Is money your constitution? Is that what you worship? Apparently so.
If you would kindly read the U.S. Constitution, you may find in Article VI, Section 3, the following, ". . . no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States." Also, in Amendment 1, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise therof; . . ."
Further, the Declaration of Independence refers to a "Creator" not God.
Not officially a motto of the US until 1954, SFB. And did you know the CONSTITUTION itself prohibits any religious test for public office? Why don't you go read Madison or Jefferson? Maybe my perception is not the same as yours, but the primary complaint is: Parental consent and information on using Obama in a song or songs, and 'praising' him!! Also, the fact that these kids were shown on tape without permission from their parents and/or guardians!! As far as the 'death' threats, are concerned, maybe it was just an error, at the time! The main stream media no longer is impartial and I've watched them all; CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, ABC, etc...At least, even amid their faults, FOX has proven to be MORE right and informative of what is going on in Congress and the W/House than any other news organization! I've lived on this earth, for over 57 years and used to think no-one was any better than CBS, but, now can't say that!!! I do NOT hate Pres. just turn off the damn TV. Do you KNOW HOW MUCH POWER we would collectively have if we rejected the product that "free enterprise" is delivering to the market? Whatever you want will be yours if you refuse to consume. Nominally 60% of the GDP is personal consumption. Threaten that and see what changes will be made.
