Since congress did this to taking our jobs overseas, I propose we tighten our belt and reduce congress..Instead of two to four representitives per state make it one..That would save us tons of money amd cut some of the pay for play..

Both camps are missing the real issues here, both on the left and the right. but that's to be expected, as you both are just two side of the same corporatist coin, weather you know and understand that or not. The left just want a socialist utopia, the right just want to get rich in war... both of you are too blind to see that you are both after the same thing. The nazis were and what little of them is left SOCIALISTS! The left and right of this country have very similar mindsets to the nazi reich, everybody working in defense, everybody paid well for grunt jobs... WHERE DO YOU THINK THE MONEY TO PULL THAT OFF COMES FROM!?!?!?!? Two sources: innovation destroying taxes, and violent expansion. The war machine needs the fresh meat of young bodies courtesy of the libertine values and cost offsets to having mindless procreation via socialism of the left, and the nationalistic fervor and militaristic mindset and values of the right. There is a better way, and that better way is your BIRTHRIGHT as an American.. But to figure out what that is, you have to educate yourself and undo the GENERATIONS of lies and unamerican thinking that is poisoning your mind. A good places to start would be the Mises institute, just look them up and keep an open mind. Your very Liberty is at stake, learn before it is tragically too late.

Obama is letting these jobs float away so that he can have total control over the country. I hope he's praying on what he's doing, because it's very dangerous. I know he's a Christian man and many Republicans are very scared of him, but he is trying to do a lot of good things with national security and the War on Terror. I just hope he doesn't turn sharply towards socialism again. Those first few months made a lot of people break out in a cold sweat whenever the new headlines hit. Stimulus dollars through the roof, and then bailout after bailout after bailout, with nary a word of how any of it was going to be paid for. Maybe saving money on the freedom that George Bush established in Iraq will pay for some of all the new spending, but I fear our taxes are going to go to the moon. Pray on it, Obama, and do the right thing.

Darren-

Only about 5% of the stimulus money has been distributed. At least 30% or so will be doled out this summer. Only THEN will we know if it is working. Until then, there is insufficient data to draw any conclusions.

That said, until we start manufacturing products in this Country that people want, any move will be just a band-aid on a hopelessly broken economic model of bogus "free-trade" arrangements. Either the "free-trade" agreements must be disbanded, or proper tariffs on imported goods levied to restore a fair trade balance.
