TEHRAN, Iran – A Russian-made Iranian passenger plane carrying nearly 170 people crashed shortly after takeoff Wednesday, smashing into a field northwest of the capital and shattering to pieces. State television said all on board were killed.
The plane's tail burst into flames in the air and the aircraft circled as if looking for a place to land before it crashed, an unidentified witness told the semi-official ISNA news agency.
The impact gouged a deep trench in the dirt field, which was littered with smoking wreckage and body parts, according to photos from the scene. Footage aired on state TV showed a large chunk of a wing, but much of the wreckage appeared to be in small shreds, and emergency workers and witnesses picked around the shredded metal for bodies and flight data recorders to determine the cause of the crash.
The Caspian Airlines Tupolev jet had taken off from Tehran's Imam Khomeini International Airport Wednesday and was headed to the Armenian capital Yerevan. It crashed about 16 minutes after takeoff near the village of Jannat Abad outside the city of Qazvin, around 75 miles northwest of Tehran, civil aviation spokesman Reza Jaafarzadeh told state media.

This is what one would expect to find when an airliner crashes, right? Yet we're supposed to believe that Flight 93 and Flight 77 just vaporized upon impact leaving no bodies, debris or anything--just POOF, disappeared after the 9/11 attacks. And what about the black boxes on these flights--were they ever found? A coroner on the scene immediately after Flight 93 "crashed," spoke of how eery it was that there were no bodies or even blood at the scene--something that had never happened before in any airliner crash on land.
9/11 was an inside job.
The article said it's a TU-154 which is a 727 copy, more or less. Three engines in the rear, so this may have been an engine fire/disintegration.

Wow, the last time they had an air disaster on that scale it was because the U.S. navy shot down Iran Air 655, yeilding the 7th highest death toll from an air disaster in the history of aviation with a spectacular grand total 290 people murdered. In 2003 terrorists claimed resposibility for downing an Iranian air force IL-76 that was reportedly carrying 276-302 people. Considering that Iran just hung 13 US-backed Jundullah terrorists, as an American, it wouldn't surprise me at all if we did it again, or paid some terrorists to do it.

When I read about plane crashes these days--no matter where they occur--the first thing I question is who was on the plane.
A year or two ago, I read an article about a commuter plane crash in Turkey. The story headline and focus was on a man that was being reunited with his family and the tragedy that he was killed in this plane crash. It went on to describe how the plane, as it was coming in for a landing without any apparent problems, suddenly and inexplicably veered off course, flew over a hill out of sight of the tower and crashed killing all onboard. But what the article only seemed to mention as an after thought was that there were also something like 10 to 15 scientists onboard that flight that were also killed and that they were all heading to a convention or meeting of some sort. (I do not recall the particular area of science these scientists represented, but I think it was either biological or perhaps nuclear.) That was it.
I found the circumstances regarding that plane "accident" to be very suspicious and wondered at the time if the scientists were murdered because of something they knew that someone didn't want revealed. I still wonder about that crash, but have been unable to find anything else regarding the deaths of these scientists or the results of the investigation into what caused that crash.
I don't find it at all implausible that to sociopaths (which I consider dick cheney and those of his ilk to be) plane crashes are probably considered to be a proven method for getting rid of "troublesome" people without casting suspicion on themselves.
