Six of those banners are referring to this photo which many took to show President Obama copping a peek at a teenager's badonkadonk at the G8 meeting, until a video revealed that he was too busy helping another woman walk down the stairs to notice.
Only one of those six banners links to a story that definitively reports that only French President Nicolas Sarkozy appeared to be peeping. And the seventh banner hauls in the Pope for a tasteless crack.
Remember all those stories about how Drudge was more mainstream and fair and was now being read by most of the media? Why is no one reporting the crap he's been posting all summer? Or are all the Drudge fans in the media currently working on developing Drudge's Obama has an evil eye exclusive?
Meanwhile, Media Matters notes, "A day after Fox News host Greta Van Susteren debunked the 'lying picture that's going around the Web' of President Obama purportedly 'checking out' a young woman at a G8 photo shoot, Fox News continued to promote the insinuation that Obama had done so."
The media watchdog site adds that this morning "Fox & Friends aired a caption stating as fact that Obama took a 'sneak peek' at a 'beauty's backside,' while Fox Nation repeatedly highlighted the 'lying picture' using headlines such as 'Busted?' and 'Girl Obama Was Checking Out is 17?'"

All scientific data shows that perception is influenced by personal preconceptions, not to mention the obvious point that a two dimensional photo does not record enough information to make an unqualified assumption about what you see. Given the extra angles as well as the actions of Obama as depicted in the video, I can say, no, I don't believe my eyes in regard to the original photo because the availability of further evidence casts doubt on any conclusions that arise from that artifact. You can blame the web site you don't like, but in reality you are failing yourself by insisting that your perception is the last word in reality.

For all that it's worth, if anyone had seen the entire chain of events from which this picture was gleaned, the President was about to help someone up on to the stairs on which he was standing, and in actuality was not looking at the rear end of the female that is implied in the photo. It's a distortion of the truth, which the press engages in so as to make news rather than report it. It's totally unfair to practice this kind of reporting and the only remedy would be to show the entire sequence of events pertaining to this incident. I would have hoped that the press in it's zeal to print the truth would have noted the inaccuracy rather than perpetuate the deception.
