A spokesman for the Los Angeles County coroner's office provided few details about the death of pop icon Michael Jackson during a press conference Friday afternoon.
The coroner's spokesman did acknowledge that Jackson was taking "some prescription drugs" but would not identify which drugs the singer had been on. He also said that further tests would be required to determine the cause of death. Full toxicology results will likely take four to six weeks, at which time a conclusive cause of death will be established, he said.
"There was no indication of foul play," the spokesman added. "There is a significant amount of information we're not able to discuss about the case."
There was also no indication of illness or abnormalities on the body, the spokesman for the coroner's office said.
The family has not yet received the body, the spokesman added.
The autopsy took three hours.
