Because of budgets here, they are closing schools (4 in Pinellas County), laying off police and worse. The average wage is $10 per hour or less. Property insurance and taxes on on the rise and if it were not for the Obama bailout money, we would be in a bigger crisis. Mexicans don't even want to live here and the wages are so low. Crime is very high but none of it matters as Florida is set up in two groups: The wealthy and those who serve the wealthy. People are voting everyday with their feet....leaving Florida.
