Dick Cheney is out giving speeches on national television, and gracing every talk show he can find. George W. Bush is cleaning up dog sh*t.
No sh*t.
"It was a humbling moment for the former commander in chief: President George W. Bush was walking former first dog Barney in his new Dallas neighborhood when it stopped in a neighbor's yard for relief," the AP writes jocularly in a piece published Friday.
"And there I was, former president of the United States of America, with a plastic bag on my hand," Bush informed a group of graduating high school students in New Mexico on Thursday at a forum sponsored by the Chase Foundation. "Life is returning back to normal."
Bush told the crowd that getting out of the Oval Office has been liberating.
"I no longer feel that great sense of responsibility that I had when I was in the Oval Office," Bush remarked. "And frankly, it's a liberating feeling."
Liberating indeed. Life is normal when George W. Bush is cleaning up after his dog.

From the Roswell Daily Record?! Really? Make your own joke here>>>>
How nice to see him tackle a job
that is within his capabilities.
what is an education worth if you can`t find a job?...thanks to w...
What do Republicans desire most and fear most?
When Republicans look at the new President what do they daydream about?
What do Republicans daydream about?
too bad he didn't do a better job of cleaning up after himself & his band of thugs.
What a contortionist! I mean, how was he able to get himself inside the plastic bag?
"I no longer feel that great sense of responsibility that I had when I was in the Oval Office," Bush remarked. "And frankly, it's a liberating feeling."
Now what would you expect a total sociopath without a shred of empathy to say? A "normal" human being would say "I lay awake at night pondering the fate of my country during these troubled times", but not Simple George.
Nope, not Chimpy. For him it's "America: out of site, out of mind".
I really hope everyone responsible for him being placed in office rots in Hell for an eternity -- but not him. He's to big a simp-wit to even know what he's done. Asshole!
Obama now has to do for Bush (and the country) the same thing Bush is doing for Barney in the photo. Unfortunetly of Obama, there is alot more of it and it smells worse with each passing day.
"I no longer feel that great sense of responsibility that I had when I was in the Oval Office," Bush remarked. "And frankly, it's a liberating feeling."
Gosh, Shrub could have fooled all of us watching him during his presidency...he never seemed to have an ounce of feeling for those he was harming, or a minimal sense of responsibility...and obviously he still doesn't!
Although it's better to see him cleaning up Barney's poop, then watching the Big Dick trying to clean up all the fecal matter from his 8 years!
well duhbya, we will be cleaning up your sh!t for the next few decades, why aren't you and dick cheney in jail or standing trial in The Haugue for War Crimes?
Yes they do these things.
They do them because the new President is running heavy defense for them, protecting them from the rule of law.
These monsters are only free because President Obama protects them, just as Pelosi protected them. It is also helpful to have sites like rawstory, atlargely and thenation helping to peddle lies to confuse the issue.
Democrats enable Republican war crimes and torture. Reprehensible dishonest writers enable the Democrats.
Dark days in the USA
How the Decider has fallen....
The Bush legacy - in the bag.
Oh I don't know,,what is a man to do. He can humiliate and humble himself before the American people or he could be HANGED in front of the American people.
I'd be pooper scooping too if it saved my from Saddam's revenge.
Now he can scoop up what Cheney just left. Its a whole lot, bring a big bag.
"I no longer feel that great sense of responsibility that I had "
Contrast this statement with the things that Jimmy Carter has done since leaving office - Habitat for Humanity, I forget how many books, but it's over 20, working for Mideast Peace, still teaching Sunday School in Plains, and he's almost 85. Could you see George Bush helping to build a house for a poor person?
That is a silly comment Miss Skeptic. Bush has never seen a "poor person". What are those? Are those the little things that look like ants when you peek out of your helicopter?
How many just plain folks wear a suit to walk a dog. This was a photo op? I hope his fellow qazillionaires in his gated community revel in his humble appearance.
Baloney! What is needed is to Prosecute Bush and Cheney for ordering Torture a US Federal Capital Crime. Both have admitted it. Everyone involved should be prosecuted. No one in the government can claim to believe Torture was legal. Can't they read the US Code?

Back to "normal" would be Bush in prison stamping license plates. For once, Bush would be doing something productive at taxpayer expense.
The "brick-shaped" droppings were found after a visit from Cheney, who was visiting to discuss his impending trial. All video footage of the defec-event was quickly seized by the FBI.
Dog shit picker upper is the most complex job this inbred moron grandson of a Nazi collaborator should ever have been allowed to hold...
Someone please stand next to Cheney with a very strong Magnet! That'll stop the mother-fuckers heart!
Hey Goerge W. after you pick up the shit.... why don't you eat some of it!
He should have placed it between rumsfeld and cheney and had a shit sandwich for lunch...
So one can just run up to the South Lawn and demand to go jogging with the President, eh?
[...] Former President Bush (say that again if it helps) isn’t just bragging about all his Big Boy accomplishments in the White House. Having fled to an exclusive Dallas suburb (which repealed its all-white bylaw only in 2000), he now congratulates himself on becoming a regular guy: [...]
The more I read about Bush since he's left office, the more I am convinced that Bush was a total puppet. Cheney, Rove, Feith, Wolfowitz, AIPAC, and Ariel Sharon had more power than Bush did.
Yes ZOG THE OBVIOUS
One can run up to the S. Lawn just like dog turd and turd blossom ran the lies about WMD up the flag pole at FAUX NEWS...
