Then they immediately started focusing on justifying an invasion of Iraq, lying about WMDs and torturing to get fake testimony of a connection between Iraq and Al Qaeda. As Bush & Cheney's advisor Wolfowitz said "Iraq floats on a sea of oil". It has the third largest oil field on this planet, and Bush Cheney & Rice all have spent their crooked careers in the oil industry. This needs a real investigation, these lies to ignore warnings of a cataclysmic terrorist attack, then use it to justify invading and overtaking an oil rich middle eastern country, was most treasonous, criminal act against the American people in this country's history. Over 8 thousand Americans have died needlessly, hundreds of thousands of Iraqis have died needlessly and over a trillion of American tax dollars which will take 90 years to pay off, driving our country into the hugest government debt it in its history. Bush & Cheney were warned many times by the CIA that there was no evidence of WMDs and Al Qaeda connection with Iraq... one person who wrote a report telling them there was no nuclear weapons was Joe Wilson. They ignored his CIA report, a month later in Bush speech claimed again Saddam was buying uranium for nuclear missles, so Wilson wrote an article in NY Times, then Cheney destroyed Wilson's wife's 25 year undercover CIA career. She was working leading a network that spied on Iran's nuclear weapons program. Again, Bush & Cheney put our country in further danger with that vengeful treasonous crime of revealing a CIA operative's identity. How many treasonous crimes do they have to commit before they are investigated and indicted? Yet Cheney has the gall to go on Fox News every week continuing his lies, and criticising the new President. I think the focus of investigating torture, needs to turn to investigating lies and treason from Cheney, Bush & Rice - direct crimes against the United States. They need to be tried for 1.) CRIMINAL NEGLECT in ignoring warnings about 9/11, and tried for 2.) TREASON in lying to Congress and the American people about the need to wage war in Iraq.
