WBAL in Baltimore reported today that Jenna Bush's Secret Service detail vehicle was towed due to six unpaid parking tickets. A second Secret Service vehicle was also ticketed.
Bush and her hubby, Henry Hager, moved to Baltimore after their wedding, where she is a school teacher, and he is employed by Constellation Energy.
Big deal, right? Well, according to the Secret Service's web site, Jenna Bush is not entitled to Secret Service detail as she is over age 16. So...why are our tax dollars paying for at least two Secret Service vehicles to be dispatched to Jenna?

I think we're concerning ourselves with the wrong issue. Why the heck is she employed by Constellation Energy?! An elementary school teacher with a bachelors degree? Not that she can't be qualified to work with such a company, but I'd be interested in discovering which cushy position with an overpaid salary she was given as a nod to her father. Besides, we sent a whole armada of US Navy and CG ships looking for JFK jr's missing plane, I think we can toss this kid a few trucks and guards.

Secret Service protection, after a presidency, is limited to the president and first lady. Bush created any 'danger' his family may be in - let him provideprotection. Who approved the current misuse and how many family members of former presidents are recipients?
