for immigrants to get a driver’s licenses.
Other provisions allow the Homeland Security secretary
to construct barriers in and around the United States,
while waiving U.S. labor and environmental laws.
Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) tells the News
the REAL ID Act will not make the country safer and
slams Bush and the GOP for not allowing the measure
to be debated in the Senate.
