hacker China shuts down hacker training operation
BEIJING (AFP) – Police in central China have shut down a hacker training company that taught thousands of people how to launch cyberattacks and provided them with spy software, media reports said Monday.

The reports come amid growing accusations of organised computer hacking originating from China that has chilled ties with the United States, and follow Google's threat last month to quit the Chinese market over cyberattacks.

Police in Hubei province shut down Black Hawk Safety Net and arrested three people, the state-run Xinhua news agency said, calling the operation China's "biggest hacker training website".

The company openly offered downloads of hacker tools and trojan software to 12,000 VIP members and 170,000 others who had registered for free membership.

The Legal Daily newspaper said on its website that the company was shut down in November and that police had frozen more than 1.7 million yuan (250,000 dollars) in assets and confiscated nine web servers, five computers and a car.

Black Hawk Safety Net was founded in 2005 and headquartered in Xuchang city in Henan province which neighbours Hubei.

The China Daily quoted anonymous Black Hawk Safety Net members saying users learned how to hack into the financial accounts of others and steal funds, through courses that cost between 100 and 2,000 yuan.

The reports said authorities began investigating the company last year after finding evidence that three of its customers were involved in a 2007 cyberattack that disrupted web services in the Hubei city of Macheng.

The reports gave no further information on any cyberattacks linked to the company.

Google said in January it would no longer abide by Chinese government censorship and was mulling leaving the country with the world's largest number of online users, citing cyberattacks on it and more than 20 other companies.

Google has said the attacks appeared aimed in part at the email accounts of activists dealing with Chinese human rights issues and appeared to have originated from China.

The Chinese government has denied any involvement in the cyberattacks.

The Google row has added to a tensions between Beijing and Washington on a range of other issues including trade, US arms sales to Taiwan, and Tibet.

This was a show op, the real one is undercover and run exculsively by the govt. and not known. They most likely use the one busted as a crash dummy so when attacks happen and it looks like it's coming from a company that promotes hackers, then the govt. can have plausible deniability and say that those people will be prosecuted.

The Chinese Government is and has been conducting a war with the UNITED STATES for years, continually allowing and encouraging companies (STATE OWNED) to poison and toxify products going to the US consumer goods markets, under wrighting attempts to steal access to computer servers and conducting a state sponsored industrial espionage program. They are still an active recruiter of ethinic chinese citizens of the US to engage in espionage against our military and our research establishment pressuring these citizens of the US to betray this country on the grounds that as chinese americans they should support the chinese peoples republic over the interests of the US due to their common ethinnic heritage. They also still continually seek to provide finaincial support to the RETHUGLICAN PARTY even going so far as to demand the release from prison of US RETHUGLICANS who were convicted for arranging finacing for the RETHUGLICANS from various chinese banks including one directly owned by the red army. They also continue to threaten other governments for their involvement with the US, i.e. the illegal occupation of a northern Phillipine island where they tried to build an advanced military base suitable for conducting operations through out the southern Pacific region, they continue to poison the Pacific fisheries with toxic discharges directly into the Pacific version of the Gulf Stream in an attempt to spread toxins and other destructive pollutants into US waters and to destroy the fisheries that many American pacific coastal states depend on economically, they still promote polices of copyright infringement soley to destroy US economic interests as well as being the most egresious producer of illegal knockoffs targeting the consumer US markets, they engage in false flag labling to disguise the source of toxic products to evade US border controls, they have encouraged and secured concessions from Mexico to be the proxy conduit for access to US markets using the flawed provisions of NAFTA that the Bush administration allowed to continue with full knowledge of their actual evasion of IMPORT control laws and to bypass US import restrictions, etc.etc.etc. It is time to get tough with China and to recognize their intent to achieve (first) parity with our military capabilities soley for undertaking military action against the US and our interests in the Pacific and elsewhere and they do not make any distictions between attacks on our health, economy, government and the civilian populations of the United States. Nor has China agreeded to commit to no first use option of nuclear, biological or chemical weapons.

"The company openly offered downloads of hacker tools and trojan software to 12,000 VIP members and 170,000 others who had registered for free membership." Huh? And all of a sudden the Chinese government got wind of this? My bet is that they funded this group.
