Global destruction breaks out as Sarah Palin is elected president in 2012, in a new mashup presented on Saturday Night Live.

News coverage purportedly revealing a Sarah Palin presidential victory and cataclysmic scenes from the new Roland Emmerich film draw familiar fake tears from new Vice President Glenn Beck on Fox News.

"All the signs were there, we were warned this day would come," the titles state as water levels rise to a bursting point.

Brian Williams looks into the NBC News cameras. "The nation has a new president," he says. A massive shroud of birds covers the screen.

"People are scared," Hillary Clinton tells an interviewer.

A fireball hits a fleeing RV covered in Obama signs.

Palin is seen on a small television. "Thanks but no thanks on the bridge to nowhere," she says. A bridge full of cars crumbles to the ground.

Will this apocalyptic vision of the future come true one day?

This video is from MSNBC's Countdown, broadcast Nov. 23, 2009.

I would've thought that a film about Sarah Palin would be titled 'Rebel, Without A Clue'

I know it's satire, but seeing the words "President-Elect Sarah Palin" strung together in the same sentence worries me...

it should tree huggers are toast

... as would we all be. She proved herself unable to run the State of Alaska (running away after half a term? Come on...!) - why on earth should America trust her with the keys to the White House? I doubt that she'd even be capable of running a county fair pie-eating contest.

That's what America deserves if it votes for Palin.

I'm laughing at the idea that someone actually believes a Sarah Palin presidency would result in "individual freedom and responsible behaviour". Actually, uneducated poster, that's exactly what the more intelligent individuals among us fear we would lose from a Palin presidency. Restricting civil liberties doesn't usually conjure up images of "individual freedom". hehehehe.

A Palin Presidency would produce the same "individual freedom and responsible behavior" of a Second Spanish Inquisition...

...because nobody expects the Second Spanish Inquisition.

She ran a state that had NO state income tax or sales tax, but filled it's coffers with the profits of big oil. And at the end of the year Alaska writes a check to every citizen to refund to them the money they took from big oil and did not spend. Lets see confiscate windfall profits from big business and give it to people who may or may not work and definitely did not pay state taxes."individual freedom and responsible behaviour"? Sounds like some of that there rouge socialism to me. Should go over real well in DC....NOT!

Possible scenario to this actually happening (not the mayan prophesy part).

Palin quitting in 2014 after she gets bored with the job - Becktard becoming President & Rushbo or O'Really being nominated for Vice-President.

    Now that's an end-of-the-world scenario.

Cute disaster movie. I think its all about liberals losing their free soylent green food stamp privileges. If liberals cannot control every aspect of everyone's life, they believe they have failed. So in the case of Sarah Palin individual freedom and responsible behavior would be a disaster on a monumental scale.

seriously..? How come republicans have to interfere in the lives of women and LGBT citizens..? seriously...personal freedom..? Now thats a joke right?

When I think of Sarah Palin being nominated for a 2012 presidential run - amusement is the first word that comes to mind - not fear.

Thus have been my nightmares since the very day Traitor McCain attempted to foist her brainless wonderlessness on an unsuspecting world.
