obama wreathx b Obama honors veterans, lays wreath at Tomb of the Unknowns President Barack Obama visited Arlington National Cemetery to honor U.S. armed forces on Veterans Day. The president laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier followed by remarks to a select group of veterans and their families.

The President issued a proclamation earlier in the day. "We have a sacred trust with those who wear the uniform of the United States of America," he said. "We reflect upon the invaluable contributions of our country's Veterans and reaffirm our commitment to provide them and their families with the essential support they were promised and have earned."

    Yep; looks like we are going to do the same thing we did in Nam, pretty much the same thing we are doing in Irag - put our tales between our legs and run. Our men and women will have died for nothing.

    I am sure President Obama is trying to do the best he can. Had Bush concentrated there in the first place we may have well out of there by now. But this is the reality. He is in a no win situation. The republicans are going to call him chicken and the liberal are going to call him a war monger. He can't win either way. I pray every night that he makes the right decisions. I am glad he is taking his time.
