The Constitution is the founding document of this country and it underlies the laws of the land. So one would think a rudimentary understanding of the Constitution would be required by every citizen who has progressed beyond counting on fingers and toes. This guy's understanding, however, sinks below the level of rudimentary. Hell, it sinks below the level of vestigial.<br><br>The Constitution guarantees every American the right to free speech - meaning free of governmental interference. This doesn't mean your boss can't fire you for yawping about stuff that the HR department has guidelines for. It doesn't mean your neigbour can't kick your butt when you insinuate that his wife is a deformed deviant mutant for her political actions. It doesn't mean your local shopping mall is obligated to let you preach your particular wacko wingnut philosophy in their parking lot. It just means if you carry around a sign saying "My Congressman Is a Wackjob Who Should Eat Shit And Live," the cops cannot arrest you or detain you or basically do *any*thing to you unless you are violating the law in some way, like carrying your sign on your neighbour's lawn, or your boss' office, or the shopping mall's carpark without permission. <br><br>And to drag some invisible sky fairy (heh) into your particular bullshit is not terribly respectful to either said sky fairy (who, if it's so powerful, should be perfectly able to deliver its own message) or your fellow-believers who might not agree with you about what said sky fairy espouses.
