glenn beck Glenn Beck is thinking like the Chinese with 100 year planGlenn Beck has begun to promote a march on the National Mall in Washington DC, timed to coincide with the anniversary of Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech.

Except Beck wants to steer America back in time, before the progressive movement began.

"I am drafting plans now to bring us back to an America that our founders would understand," he told a crowd in Florida saturday, at a book-sales event.

Beck has been "doing a lot of reading on history in the last few years" and announced that he is crafting a 100 year plan for the nation.

Beck told the crowd he wants them to come to a march at the foot of the Abraham Lincoln statue next summer for its unveiling. His next book will be called The Plan.

Story continues below...

The crowd surrounding Beck at his masterful book-selling event in a Florida retirement community seemed unresponsive to his comment that "we need to start thinking like the Chinese."

Plan For The Ultimate Capitalist Utopia: End social security so citizens will be free to work until the day they die. Eliminate public schools. Education is only necessary for those who can afford to pay for it. Most of us only need to know how to pull levers, lift heavy things or sit on street corners. Abolish the minimum wage. Workers should be free to work for food if that's their choice. Make the US #1 in infant mortality and preventable disease by ending all health-care entitlements for all citizens. This will also finally bring down America's absurdly long life-expectancy (don't be so greedy). Make America #1 in prison population and allow businesses the freedom to use prison labor. It gives the inmates something to do. Make every bank a Bank of America, every store a Wal-Mart and every government worker an FBI agent or prison guard. Aside from that, we'll be practically government-free. Like Somalia. We'll have the lowest taxes in the land and liberty will reign supreme.

Just what we need - ANOTHER plan for America by ANOTHER former alcoholic coke-head.
  • terrymo1
Please do not put beck in the same concept as the real former alcoholic/drug addicts. He is a practising drunk and has been seen in several bars near the fux news headquarters. He will tell you he "was" a drunk, but is lieing.
  • tomhoser
I hope he will finally address the question weather he raped and killed a young girl in 1990?
    Just ask'in
  • barrelhse
As far as I know Glenn Beck has never denied the rape and murder of that young girl. Never.

I was in college with an individual who would argue with others of us (we were all journalism majors) over just about everything. To give insight into how frustrating that could be, 5 of us once debated with 'Paul' the meaning of a single word. When we got out 2 different dictionarys so he could read for himself the definitions, he simply said, "The dictionary's wrong." and he really believed that to be the case.
This is the mind of Glenn Beck. No greater disservice has any broadcast company ever done than when FOX decided to give the likes of Glenn Beck (and a few others)access to the minds of so many Republican, Neo conservative, Independent simpltons.

Beck can't think into the future farther than a few days at best... long enough to think up another variation on his shtick to keep his ignorant viewers glued to his sad face.

    To all press:
What other TV personalities get as much press as the crazy, divisive and loud Glen Beck?. He is gaining support because, "If our media supports this then I will too" mentality of the non thinking class. Very problematic.

Stop reporting on this dangerous thinking. You are encouraging him.

So let me get this straight Glen Beck is going to bring us back to our communist roots. Does this mean he is going to purge the country of the educated and everyone else who might disagree with him?
  • airjackie
Glenn Beck has found enough people to follow him and he will use them for every thing he can get. Now why not use people to sell books and get the big profit. As many Americans are suffering from lost of income but are willing to give money to Beck rather then feed their kids why not. Sarah said she didn't care what people say or think of her she wants them to buy her book so she has money for her Legal Fund and life style. Beck a fake Journalist and recovering alcoholic/drug user would make some Americans welcome him as President. We will never get 1776 back no matter how hard many racist want it, we've learned so much sence then even that many of the pass Presidents of the US were born from interracial relationships. We honor Thomas Jefferson knowing he had black children that he was proud of. Storm Thurmon a Republican Law Makers who fought all his life to bring the South back to it's former time died. Yes we learned that even Thurmon loved a black woman so much he fathered a child and supported secretly all his life. Most of the US Law Makers and even Journalist who sprout Racism are married to minorities and have kids. Even Law Makers like Senator Ensign who carry the Cross of Religion and Racism have affairs with minority woman. I guess Beck's New World would allow Mark Foley back to molest kids and Larry Craig wouldn't have to look for sex from men in the AirPort men's rooms. Senator Vitter would really love to bring back the slavery days when white men could rape black woman and it was legal. Beck knows many racist Americans will do anything for the dream of bringing back the pass 233 years who Slavery and Lawlessness was the way of the new land called America.

What a goofy son of a bitch. He was nobody on CNN. He moved to Fox and now he's king of the dim-witted and crazy. Is that any reason to note his utterings?

Appealing to psychotics... once again...Remember that Italian fascism was based on the same restorative idea: idealizing medieval life, only this time the corporate leaders no longer even are constrained by the same obligations to watch over the welfare of their peasants (if they wanted to continue eating, that is), while under medieval-style capitalism (aka fascism) the idea is that there will always be an endless supply of slave-type labor.

Beck's slogan: "Let's bring America back to 1776."

Let's make sure we document VERY carefully what Beck says when he pontificates to the other media and any one with a microphone/camera readily available. Beck TAKES NO SIDES and/or ADVOCATES NOTHING!! Absolutely NOTHING. He uses his pundit platform to cajole, prod, push, spin, lie, create and strawman a 'beck vision' of a 1860's place that he believes his followers want as a replacement for their environment today.

Now remember, Beck has taken no side on any issue and has advocated NOTHING..He has merely suggested...He merely suggested that his followers 'have to decide today' whether or not they will continue down the path they are on with their current 'country'; they have to decide, based on beck's suggestions whether they want a 2074-page Health Care reform package (1st pass) that represents the first change in our system of patches and payoffs, in 65-years since the passage of Medicare. OR, do they want to go back to the small, 'just a few pages' of the original Constitution which advocates NONE (in beck's world) of today's taxes or health care or government systems/support or institutions... And contrary to what Virginia Foxx will say next week, the republicans DID NOT pass Medicare...

They, his 'followers' have to decide today whether or not their current government is working in their best interest in Blythsville, Arkansas or East Battle Creek, Michigan or Walla-Walla, Washington or whether or not they, Beck followers, should rise up and take their governmental back - by force. He hasn't come straight out and said that his followers have to pick up weapons and take out their local authorities (not just police but Beck-defined local non-relating politicians) but he's close...Give him a few more weeks and it won't be very subtle any more.

So, what will he be spewing by the time he gets around to not advocating anything in August of next year... You pick...

We the people can make this happen. I am only one person. But add my voice to the ever increasing shout that we need to make this America again. It is an exciting time. It will be historic. And nothing can make me doubt GB and all those like him can bring back constitutional government.
  • Phil E. Drifter
    You're delusional.
  • allenallen
The U.S. Constitution? The one that your GB crapped all over?

Amendment 7 - Trial by Jury in Civil Cases. Ratified 12/15/1791.

In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.

Amendment 8 - Cruel and Unusual Punishment. Ratified 12/15/1791.

Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

All he has to do is start "thinking" back when his "magical underwearing" mormon "Profit's" tried to start an oligarchy with their own money system that was a form of "chinese" communism. It all went to hell in a "handcart." This moron mormon couldn't "lead" 10 teabaggers to a polygamist polyp party.
  • Schmice
When is he going to implode or unravel like old Joe McCarthy? Unfortunately, McCarthy wrecked this nation and took many good people down with him. If anyone has pix of this "former" drunk at a bar, please post them.
  • Damn, The founding fathers planted a seed that's been growing for 233+ years, we call it "today". Every time Glenn Beck talks about taking two steps backwards, I remind myself that they didn't have modern day technology back then, so instead of Beck spewing hatred on TVs and radios, he'd be out doing hill-billy shit.
