The truth is that if our overlords were coming at us with malice, this would all be MUCH easier to deal with, as effective malice requires thought and reason along with clear motivation. These are things that make malice predictable. Incompetence, and the tyranny of incompetence it begats is VASTLY more dangerous, as you cannot predict or reason out the motivations of incompetence. The incompetent always have the element of surprise:

Since they have no clue of even their own next move, you have little hope of figuring out what they will throw at you next.

So, to make up what they lack in good ideas, they slap-clap hair-brained ideas upon foolish notion. When that fails they throw slogan after slogan, all the while shoving every fallacy of logic like monkeys throwing so much intellectual fecal matter.

When all that fails, they drag your sons to war with lies, lies you swallow without complaint.
