Commenting on a document titled, "Martyrdom in Islam vs. Suicide Bombing," a Nidal Hassan -- who has been identified as having been watched for "Internet postings" -- praised the tactics of suicide bombers on online document service Scribd.com.

The comments were found by ASSME.org, which has more here.

Excerpted from the comments by user NidalHasan:

There was a grenade thrown amongs a group of American soldiers. One of the soldiers, feeling that it was to late for everyone to flee jumped on the grave with the intention of saving his comrades. Indeed he saved them. He inentionally took his life (suicide) for a noble cause i.e. saving the lives of his soldier. To say that this soldier committed suicide is inappropriate. Its more appropriate to say he is a brave hero that sacrificed his life for a more noble cause. Scholars have paralled this to suicide bombers whose intention, by sacrificing their lives, is to help save Muslims by killing enemy soldiers. If one suicide bomber can kill 100 enemy soldiers because they were caught off guard that would be considered a strategic victory. Their intention is not to die because of some despair. The same can be said for the Kamikazees in Japan. They died (via crashing their planes into ships) to kill the enemies for the homeland. You can call them crazy i you want but their act was not one of suicide that is despised by Islam. So the scholars main point is that “IT SEEMS AS THOUGH YOUR INTENTION IS THE MAIN ISSUE” and Allah (SWT) knows best.

Now that I got that out of my system, I can say that what Hasan said about terrorist bombers is 100% correct. It is a strategic victory. What about that says he "praised suicide bombers"? He was stating an opinion on strategic tactics.

Which one of you cocksuckers at Raw wrote that title? I'm starting to hate the Rawstory staff. I really want to kick you guys in the nuts these days....of course not literally, proverbially.

In case one of you ass gaskets claims I'm making 'terrorist threats' online, which seems to be all the rage.

Fuck I'm mad at you for erasing my posts. LMAO

    You FUCKERS!!! lol

    Again!
    He's a one-trick pony.
    or
    He's one trick-pony.

Still humorous. Most people know haow to use language. He just strings the symbols of his frustration along like alphabet blocks.

Too bad that he gets moderated to that extent.

Raw Story -you really need to think twice before creating such loaded headlines. The example you gave comparing suicide bombers to Kamakazi pilots was factually correct and showed no praise that I could see.

Lets not go back to the crazy days after 9/11 please.

You have good point. But publishers write headlines, not editors or rewriters. Oh, they'll claim they write 'em. But the reality is they write what the Owner/Publisher wants or they are replaced.
All good headline writers have the unabridged edition of Rocky & Bullwinkle with the Dudley DoRight Appendix and bibliographical notes by Snidely Whiplash close at hand, well - at least the CD's or VD's.
