It exemplifies the insanity of our disfunctional, unsustainble, unnatural society. The madness of it is considered “normal”.
No wonder I fart feathers after eating.
I doubt the male scraps are just thrown away, but probably sold to someone to use in animal food or something. Hell, maybe the ground up males are what we in the US call chicken nuggets?

It’s shameful, insane, the worst, and disgusting that there are people to even work these jobs! I wouldn’t do it for all the money in the world.
Although it is cruel, you have to look at it this way…do you want to starve to death, or do you want to be able to eat?
If mankind lived as every other animal does on this planet, then he would be catching these chicks and throwing them into a fire or in to boiling water alive to eat them, or even eating them raw. Not much different.
Don’t blame mankind, for he is just another animal. Blame the way we are “made” and what we have to do to survive as a species. Every species has to do the same thing. Predators eat prey. There’s not a whole lot we can do about it.
vegan hippies hate everything we do. the point is we eat them, we raise them specifically to be eaten. they are our food, if they are not your food, raise your own. we wont tell you how to not-eat them, so dont tell us how to eat ours.
Jesus Christ! So what. The US corporations toss their workers into grinders daily. The US military has tossed millions of women and children into grinders for Christians political gain. The “Humane” society hit dogs over the head with fire axes then cremates them still alive but mortally injured. Our medical system allows millions of US citizens to be eaten alive, slowly, by curable diseases because they are too sick to work and pay the extortion to the insurance companies. There is good health care for illegal aliens but none for the people who’s jobs they have stolen. Life is not fair. All you get is what you are willing to kill for. Even the lions and wolves know this.
why not introduce this method of death in Texas as an execution option if it is humane?
All of us watch the chicks as though we were separate from what is happening to them. Guess what, you are on another conveyer belt heading for a meat grinder just like the chicks. Your chances as a woman are 1 in 3 that you will get cancer, for men its 1 in 2, those are epidemic numbers. Given a little more time and getting cancer for men and women will be 100% (I remember a time when it was 1 in 1000 do you). Modern medicine is a profit business like the chicken factory that can see no profit in cures that is why there has not been a cure for even the simplest disease like herpes in over a half a century. Their business is squeezing more money out of dying people via treatments not cures (Yet they still ask for our money to find a cure, ironic huh). Anyway you are on a conveyer belt it is just fancier. But it is just as horrible and inhuman. Right now thousands of your fellow human beings are screaming their lungs out because there is not drug strong enough to stop the pain. In your future there is a bed waiting for you and I am sorry but you will remember this comment. There is one way to avoid this fate and that is become what you really are. And what is that you ask? If you are a human being you are a vegan plain and simple. If you are not a human being you are on that conveyor belt heading for that cancer treatment bed. May God have mercy on your soul?
