Compares Penn & Teller to Nazis
Catholic League President Bill Donohue presented a paranoid side of his personality to Fox News Monday morning, declaring that “militant, dogmatic” atheists are “out to get” Catholics and dismantle American society.
“I’m talking about the extremists within [liberal] ranks who have become very, very vocal,” Donohue said. “And over the last several decades what we’ve seen is an all-out assault. This kind of new atheism. This militant dogmatic fundamentalist atheism out there to get us.”
Donohue appeared on Fox & Friends to talk about his new book, Secular Sabotage: How Liberals Are Destroying Religion and Culture in America.
Donohue, whose Catholic League represents an estimated 350,000 Catholics, also went on the attack against “disaffected” Christians.
“And not just atheists — I’m talking about people who are disaffected Catholics and Protestants who are mutineers within their own religion, trying to change things,” Donohue argued.
“Whatever you might say about the Marxists, they wanted to tear down society to put something new in,” Donohue said. “But the new radicals are the nihilists, all they want to do is tear down the cultural edifice of American society. They are intellectually spent, they have nothing to offer.”

Donohue also discussed a recent episode of the Showtime series Penn & Teller: Bullshit! that focuses on the history of the Catholic Church, and in which Penn Jillette concludes: “If your morality is governed by anything personal, ethical, rational or humanitarian, then the Vatican is bullshit.”
“This was the most Nazi-like assault,” Donohue said. “The most unrelenting half an hour of bashing I’ve ever seen.”
The Nazi comparison appears to be Donohue’s theme for his publicity battle with Penn & Teller, which he blames on CBS, as it owns Showtime, the network that airs Penn & Teller’s show.
“The Nazis couldn’t have done better,” Donohue said in a statement. “Having been in this job for over 16 years, I have never seen a more defamatory, obscene and vicious show on TV.”

I stop reading comments as soon as I see someone quoting bible passages, that was why I fired a shot across your bow.

As opposed to extremists within religitard ranks who dwell on stories of the past instead of showing interest in science which takes us into the future.
I bang my head against the wall explaining to people that these were simply stories written by early humans (shortly after they actually created written language, as opposed to hieroglyphics which were before even them) who did not understand how the world (and universe) worked so they credited it to some almighty being.
There is no god. Get over it and use your brain instead; not doing so would be an insult to the countless millennia it spent evolving.
It is amazing that this guy would compare a comedian duet that uses truth and facts to produce humor to Nazis. The group that he represents is far more facist that most other groups these days.
Atheists are wanting the truth told, instead of religious lies. Atheists want the religious to leave us alone and stop trying to take over the government.
Religion should be a private matter and not one that needs the government to push onto everyone.

The Nazis would NEVER have done what Penn and Teller did to the Church.
Pope Pius was a friend and ally of Hitler’s. According to US, Italian, German and Swiss government documents, the Vatican was a Nazi money laundry and also helped tens of thousands of Nazi war criminals escape from Europe, many of whom were repatriated to the Americas with the help of Prescott Bush (GW Bush’s grandpa) where many of them became an integral part of the US intelligence services (CIA) or part of the GOP political machine.
Donahue is just retarded, that’s all this is.
I mean come on let’s be real here… you HAVE to be retarded to believe that light was created before a light source, and that the universe is 5000 years old, that god is a white male with a long beard, and that some dude was actually able to build a wooden boat large enough and well supplied enough to house and feed every species on earth for 40 days and 40 nights.
That stupid book seriously needs to come with disclaimers inside the front cover like it does in China.
