Sarah Palin says Glenn Beck doing an ‘extraordinary’ job

Sarah Palin has gone from being governor of Alaska to a public relations booster for Fox News’ Glenn Beck, coming out with a Facebook comment praising the controversial TV show host for his “extraordinary” work and urging people to watch Beck’s talk show.
“Fox News’ Glenn Beck is doing an extraordinary job this week walking America behind the scenes of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and outlining who is actually running the White House,” Palin wrote on her Facebook page.
“Monday night he asked us to invite one friend to watch; tonight I invite all my friends to watch,” she added.
As of last count, 13,700 people had given Palin’s comment a “thumbs up.”
Fox’s Glenn Beck has lost at least 36 advertisers since late July, when Beck said during his show that President Obama has “a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture.”
Moments later, Beck added: “I’m not saying he [Obama] doesn’t like white people. He has a problem. This guy is, I believe, a racist.”
According to McClatchy Newspapers, Palin’s praise was for Beck’s attack this week on Van Jones, a White House environmental adviser that opponents of President Obama are criticizing for his links to radical political movements in his youth.
Among the advertisers who have distanced themselves from Beck since those comments are AT&T, Campbell Soup, Johnson & Johnson, NutriSystem, Sprint, UPS, and Verizon Wireless.

I love it when a major political party has people like this representing them.

Glen Beck getting the NAILIN PALIN (oops sorry Sarah Pailin
) congratulation is like the kiss of death for his show. These show are on the air because of advertisers, they made Glenn take a week off hoping that it would stop the hemmoraging, and it didn’t. And before anybody start to say that the advertisers will advertise on different hours other than the Glenn Beck show and that would enable him to stay, let me explain something to you. There are only so many spots that advertisers want or can have, yea they can advertise Pampers at 11:00 pm, but that isn’t the opportune time to get the people (mostly wives or house wives) to think about buying that particular brand while she’s at home. They would rather advertise that stuff during the day and during the soaps. Also shows have at most 15 minutes worth of commercials for every hour, so if you go past that eventually your show isn’t worth watching because the people watching it will think that this is some informercial. So if you can’t get advertisers to advertise at that particular time on his show, you either have to lower the ad spot price enough where it’s a steal (they won’t do it for Beck, believe me) or you “change the format”. Which is code word for get someone new.
And as for Sara Palin, she’s starting to lose that shine after she decided to leave her first term as governor early. It’s the what have you done for me lately scenario for her. To the republicans, she is slowly turning into a nobody and you don’t see any fund raisers with her anymore. The republicans are shooting themselves in both feet, and if any of them where smart they would run for the hills and become very much moderate.
