Pat Buchanan: Palin’s husband should murder Levi

Conservative pundit and onetime Nixon aide Pat Buchanan suggested in an interview Monday that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s husband should murder her daughter’s ex-boyfriend for speaking unfavorably about her campaign and decision to resign.
“Well, first, with regard to Levi, I think First Dude up there in Alaska, Todd Palin, ought to take Levi down to the creek and hold his head underwater until the thrashing stops,” Buchanan quipped.
TIME’s Mark Halperin chuckled and remarked, “That’s a reality show, right there.”

Levi Johnston, the 19-year-old father of Sarah Palin’s grandson and ex-fiance to Palin’s daughter Bristol, said he thought the former Alaska governor quit earlier this month out over concerns about money, and said that he probably wouldn’t vote for her if she ran again. Johnston’s recently videotaped interview appears below.

Buchannon is a real creep -and he is one of very few who are pretty good at hiding it, from which can be gathered that he is well aware his views are so out there that if he made them all known he would be marginalized by a vast majority of the public. Most who only know him from MSNBC have no idea just how dark and counter to basic democratic values his hidden views are. He could arguably be described as an “American Reich” holdover cell from the late Thirties, waiting for and quietly working towards a second chance to fight for the America he and very few others dreamt of back then.

After watching it on t.v. last night, I changed my mind and now I think it’s funny.
I saw it when it was said. It was clearly tongue in cheek. Maybe it’s because I come from Applacia where coarse humor is the rule and not the exception, but I thought it was funny. (and I am real left wing progressive)
