Stewart blasts former CIA analyst for rooting for bin Laden attack

Perhaps it’s a form of Stockholm Syndrome.
The same person who spent nearly a decade fruitlessly leading the CIA unit charged with finding Osama bin Laden now seems to be rooting for him.
Former CIA analyst Michael Scheuer told Fox News’ Glenn Beck Tuesday night, “The only chance we have as a country right now is for Osama bin Laden to deploy and detonate a major weapon in the United States.”
According to his bio, “From 1996 to 1999, [Scheuer] served as the Chief of the bin Laden unit (aka Alec Station), the Osama bin Laden tracking unit at the Counterterrorism Center. He then worked as Special Adviser to the Chief of the bin Laden unit from September 2001 to November 2004.”
On Wednesday’s Daily Show, Jon Stewart found himself outraged at Beck’s guest. “What the f*ck is that? And by the way, here’s the fascinating thing about our culture. My guess is that you didn’t hear me say ‘f*ck.’ Because the Federal government is protecting you and your children’s ears from that type of profanity.”
Stewart mocked Scheurer’s beard: “While, Santa’s evil twin gets to, uhh…gets to nonchalantly propose the needless slaughter of Americans to further his national security plan. But, obviously, in this country, everyone’s entitled to their dope-pinion.”
Stewart added at the end, “Hey, is there any way you can yell loud enough into your TV at home for the people inside it to hear you?”

They are not promoting democracy. Democracy comes from the bottom. They are advancing global capitalism, under the guise of promoting democracy.
It’s not “global capitalism” that’s being advanced under the auspices of promoting democracy, it’s “corporatism” and corporatism does not advance democracy, it destroys it. The really pathetic thing is bin Laden has to be dead. He could not have survived that level of kidney disease. The sluglicans just keep trotting his corpse out to scare everyone.
It’s obvious this treasonous hack didn’t do his job very effectively … he searched for 10 years and couldn’t find bin Laden?

Former CIA analyst Michael Scheuer is just another Bush criminal cabal fucking liar. He was in charge of a task that the Bush criminal cabal did not want completed successfully: they didn’t want to catch Bin Laden.
Now he says it would be just wonderful if Bin Laden fired off a weapon of mass destruction in the US. Perhaps he’s referring to the Minot-Barksdale nuclear missile that went missing in Sept 2007, and that will probably be detonated sometime in the future in Anytown, USA as the Plutocracy’s next false flag operation.

Osama Bin Laden was cheney’s and bush’s boogey man to fear and war monger their heist of the US treasury and Bill of Rights. We know the real terrorists against this country were in the White House from 2000 to 2008. When he said “the only thing that will save us” he could have been referring to any number of Obama’s opponents. It’s not entirely certain he was calling for such a horrific event. He might have been saying that it would take that kind of event to distract the Dems from carrying through on the rest of their agenda.
But, to even suggest that an attack of that kind would “save us” is incredibly stupid and callous. I guess that’s what Fox thinks is alright, but few Americans would agree.
I don’t think it changes anything. We continue our plans in Afghanistan & Pakistan and we will succeed.

Michael Shuerer is most certainly not a neo-con, far from it, although he is hawkish on he issue of torture, in fact he even claims the US doesn’t use torture, but he wants the military out of aghanistan/iraq/pakistan etc etc etc.
in this particular video he doesn’t say he’s “rooting” for bin laden, what he is saying is that it is going to take a big attack for the politicians in washington to wake up to the lax security on the boarder and the threat from bin laden, which he claims the US government have never taken seriously, even after the 9/11 attacks, they’re still more interested in nation states and not the al qeada group .

Ronald Reagan gave weapons of mass destruction to Osama Bin Laden and George Bush senior sold weapons of mass destruction to Sadaam Hussein. So what are you saying? bush jr and cheney said OBL brought down 3 massive buildings into dust on 9/11/2001 in New York and everyone believed it without question. I just watched the daily show bit on shuerer, that was a good bit of editing of a 8 minute interview, if you watch the whole interview shuerer is commenting on the absurdity of the fact that it’s going to take a attack on a big scale for the government to finally wake up to the threat, a threat he thought they would wake up too after 9/11, but evidently in his view they haven’t.
Just like Beck, Scheuer just keeps getting fatter and dumber.
Nothing says, “I have no credibility whatsoever…” quite like appearing on the Glenn Beck show or on any Fox show.
The reason they haven’t found OBL is because they haven’t really been looking for him. The FBI has said, when asked why OBL wasn’t on their “most wanted list,” that there was no evidence found connecting OBL to the attacks of 9/11.
Wake up people. Think about what this CIA creep publicly state–that in his view in order to “save” America, he’s hoping for a nuclear (I know he didn’t quite say that, but he inferred it) attack on US soil that will kills thousands, perhaps millions of American citizens.
I bet that’s what his fellow neocons were “hoping” for too prior to the attacks of 9/11. Looks like they go their “wish.”
