Reporter: NSA analysts spied on own wives and girlfriends

According to the reporter who first broke the NSA wiretapping story, there is no proof the agency has scaled back its interception of the personal phone calls and email messages of American citizens as promised by the Obama administration or even that it is being straight with Congress about its activities.
James Risen and Eric Lichtblau revealed the NSA’s over-collection of data in an article for the New York Times on Tuesday, noting that one NSA analyst was even found to have been reading the private email of former President Bill Clinton.
Risen told MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann the next day that he knew of no other cases like the Clinton incident but that many NSA analysts had been abusing their powers in other ways. “It sounded like, from the former NSA analyst that we interviewed, that it was rare to access the emails of celebrities or famous people,” Risen stated, “but that it was fairly routine, according to him, for people to access the emails of girlfriends or wives or other people that they might know.”
Risen further addressed the more serious question of whether the Obama administration is complying with its promise to scale back NSA data collection. He said that Rep. Rush Holt (D-NJ), who is the chairman of an intelligence oversight committee, “told us that he is not convinced that the NSA … has put an end to it. … He believes that it’s not inadvertent and that … this may be a flagrant problem that is continuing.”
Risen did acknowledge, however, that “other people on the Hill seem to disagree with that.”
Risen also pointed out there’s “a division within Congress” on whether or not they’re getting straight answers from the NSA. “Senator Feinstein said today that she believes the NSA is following the law. … Congressman Holt disagrees with that. … It’s unclear where the oversight is right now.”
Risen concluded by noting that “there was a very interesting exchange today in Congress between Attorney General Holder and Senator Russ Feingold. Feingold tried to get Attorney General Holder to agree that the Bush warrantless wiretapping program had been illegal, and Attorney General Holder refused now to use that word ‘illegal.’ … That was very interesting. … It represented a change from the Obama campaign’s position on that.”

Well, you’d have to be quite the loser to work for the NSA in any event, I don’t find this surprising at all.
Satan. There are 100,000 people who work for NSA. Watch the PBS documentary about the NSA where they briefly mention that in 2001 or 2002 the NSA was offline for 3 whole days without any explanation. America was deaf, blind, and dumb for 3 days. WITH NO EXPLANATION.

There’s way more than 100,000 losers in the U.S. and really, if you want to make your living working for an agency that’s been scooping up the worlds communications since at least the early 90’s and probably much earlier, well ,that spells LOSER in my book. Not to mention the fact that if you have the time and ability to both spy on your wife and get away with it, thaty says something is wrong right there. It certainly shows that any ’safegaurds’ that are in place to protect us don’t mean a thing to these losers.
When cops spy on their wives with police computers, they sometimes find themselves fired.

Lots of money to be made by NSA employees who can find out personal info of congressmen for use as blackmail by foreign governments, who can do industrial espionage and sell to the highest bidder, who can find out anything for anybody. So easy to do, if one can spy on a girlfriend then all that is needed is a name and a few details.
Perhaps those Congress people who now side with NSA spying have their own insider at the NSA.
Gee, I thought they were supposed to be spying on the evil doers … the terraists. All this time that they defended their illegal spying, claiming they were ensuring the safety of Americans, they’re actually playing private dicks - pursuing personal vendetta’s on the public’s dime.
Spying on wives and girlfriends … your tax dollars hard at work ensuring that those wives and girlfriends haven’t strayed. Are the taxpayers going to be reimbursed for the amount of time these tools didn’t spend doing their fucking jobs?
What this shows is that employees can get away with it and can’t be stopped. Why? Because higher ups are doing it. Why can’t they be stopped? Because they either have stuff on Obama and Eric Holder, like the birth certificate or the Indonesian passport or they are doing the same thing.

satan, you’re making a fool of yourself. that document you linked to was CREATED IN 2008. what needs to be produced (and what obama refuses to produce) is the original BC that existed from 1961 showing, among other things, the names of the hospital and the attending physician, neither of which appears on the document you attached. sharpen your thinking, find that document and you will solve the entire mystery. until we all see that proof, stop denigrating those who raise the entirely legitimate consititutional question.

My hope is that one day these programs will be exposed and to that end The Ominous Parallels website seeks to educate the public about these kinds of weapons, operations, players and the effect it is having on our world.
More important is how the inhumane actions of our government parallels that of Nazi Germany between 1933 - 1945.
This is REAL; TIs need some kind of safe haven!
