Ventura enrolls Fox & Friends in waterboarding ’school’
A day after “schooling” the hosts of ABC’s The View on waterboarding, Jesse Ventura took his case for prosecuting torture to Fox News.
“You are worried about [the terrorists'] welfare,” accused Fox’s Brian Kilmeade.
“No. I’m not worried about their welfare. I’m worried about what our country stands for,” Ventura responded.
This video is from Fox’s Fox & Friends, broadcast May 19, 2009.

Anyone that can resoundingly pummel that pussy Kilmead has my admiration and respect for LIFE.
Keep pounding away, Jesse!!!!
Well said ! What a smarmy little b#@%$* he is.
He’s not trying to destroy this country? Seems to me that the rightwing idea that short term gains out weigh the long term global impression we leave. Right now we’ve told all the tyrants and military governments that torture is not only acceptable but that if conducted no one will be held accountable for it. If that isn’t destroying America then what exactly is. It isn’t when outside forces challenge our core values, it isn’t because we can’t acquire intelligence without it, nope it’s when we forget who we are and what we represent. Fox and Friends has clearly indicated that they would prefer the easy route and ignore the legacy we leave behind and is more focused on charging up the likes of Joe the Plumber. How about we take these TV personalities and sign their children up, send them off to war and let their children be victims of their short sighted instant gratification revenge. Guaranteed Fox would be screaming about torture then.
Torture is a tool for ignorant power mongols who are to impatient to out smart and out maneuver it’s adversaries. These guys need to stop watching Access Hollywood and start focusing on the principles of democracy and the rule of law and stop fanning the flames of anarchy.
Good for Ventura.
We need a Special Prosecutor appointed to control the giving of immunity to witnesses called by the coming investigatory commissions..

I don’t know why Jesse didn’t just body slam the putrid little idiot. and even at verbal arguments, I should have done much better. Should have pressed kilmeade on why he’s not serving, and when he said ‘what, I can’t root for my country if I’m not in the military?’ should have said “NO. Just kidding. BUT if you are gonna talk about shit you don’t know you should shut the frakk up!”
argghg..
Jesse is 100% right. There are so many unanswered questions surrounding 911 and most questions lead right to cheney, the recent right wing media big mouth. Every reason to start 2 wars, torture innocent human beings, and every speech bush gave in 7 years was based on 911. Why wouldn’t a crime this enormous require the utmost investigation other than a committee created by bush. If a normal murder investigation with were carried out like the so called 911 commission in this country without forensic and criminal proof, the investigators would be laughed out of the court room.
Kilmeade better be making tons of money for his despicable whiney-ass behavior. Walking out, just because Jesse said BOO! Pathetic!
Petitions won’t cut it. What’s needed is a million-strong protest on Washington DC condemning torture and those that did it, demanding a special prosecutor and a completely full and open investigation.
America needs her soul back.
“Petitions won’t cut it.”
Obama landed in Washington on a wave of nausea and swore to clean out the putrefaction and the stench of the Bush administration.
Instead, Obama is daily violating his oath of office by his failure to order the prosecution of those responsible for fully documented violations of US law and international treaties against torture.
Instead, Obama is complicit in a massive transfer of the commonweal’s present and future resources to the very clique of white collar thugs, banksters and Wall Street con artists who have sabotaged the US’s economic foundations.
By shielding the torturers and maintaining many of Bush’s executive power grabs, Obama has signaled to the reichwingers that indeed, “Yes They Can”, again and again and again …
jimbo92107, well put.
“Because It’s illegal…” yeah, became illegal after arguments much more thoughtful than Kilmeade’s selfish diatribe.
Spreading Democracy? Forget about it. No one will want it until America regains her soul.
Yesterday, after hearing Jesse Ventura, I saw a US flag and for the first time in years, paused to ponder it’s significance. The flag has disgusted me until very recently. We must bare our souls, admit to mistakes and move forward. If that requires executing a former president and vice president, so be it.
There is a reason why Brian Kilmeade works for Fox News and not as a Brain Surgeon.
Not a huge fan of Ventura ….but I got to pat him on the back for saying what others are afraid to say.If only others would get some backbone and start asking the unanswered questions.Don’t we as a country deserve to know the whole truth?
Do we really what to know the truth? How much damage will it cause?More then we would like to admit I’m sure.
The fools who do bad things can only do bad things when others let them.
There’s a saying I like to tell everyone “Believe nothing you see and only half of what you hear”
People WILL lie and twist information to suit there own means.
VENTURA FOR PRESIDENT!!!
Look who ran out! That little bitch Brian Kilmeade, that’s who?
This guy brings out the 9-11 Commission report as evidence of proof? That piece of shit report isn’t even worth using as asswipe!
Jesse shouldda told him, well I think you might be a terrorist, lets find out punk!
I bet that little bastard wet his panties! LOL
Look to the Banksters via minion Dick Cheney for who pulled the strings on 9-11. I’d love to waterboard Uncle “Dick!”
Jesse Ventura has ALL the credibility in the world and Brian Kilmeade has ZERO.
The only things I heard Kilmeade say were regurgitated sound bytes like “ticking time bomb.” Those kind of bumper stidker retorts are so old and meaningless. If that is the best he can come up with, then he’s long out of material.
I want Ventura to work the entire talk circuit - day time and prime time - and get the message out.
Kilmeade is disgusting because he shows disrespect to a guest who gives an opinion based upon his life experience in the military. No matter what else you think, Ventura risked his life for what he thought was the security of the country. That act alone gives Ventura all the respect that anyone can get. And this neo-con lackey Kilmeade has the gall to discount Ventura’s experience in the military? His thoughts and opinions based upon his experience in the military? Who does Kilmeade think he is?
There is no better reason to never watch this nimrod Kilmeade again. This wimp is a creation of Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch. He’s on the air to question patriotism and common sense, to mask the fact that corporatism rules the country.
What a bunch of cowards this whole pro torture bunch are. Most have never even served in the military, like Dick Cheney, for instance and the little Fox Friends coward. Shame on them. They’ve brought shame on us all.
Yes, Alansmithee…we need more Repubs and Dems in our offices, because clearly they are doing so much for the American people. Clearly the Left/Right Paradigm is working. Clearly you are insane.
I lived in Minnesota when Jesse was Governor and I will tell you he brought truth, representation of the people, and honor. Something you know little about. Jesse was a great Governor and a great man…something you should look into.
Bravo Jesse.. I was wondering who was going to be the first to leave as it was going hot and heavy.. You got your points across .. Thank you for talking about this ..You did good..

Why Mr. Ventura didn’t say , yes, 911 was done by the government.
Why he didn’t ask those morons some questions to see if they could answer ….like, what FEMA was doing the day before 911?, who did the ” put up options”? (people who knew 911 was going to happen and they have not claimed the money), how bush saw the “airplane” hit the north tower,…(NOBODY saw on tv when the “airplane” carshed, untill the NEXT day) there’s hundreds more questions, and he didn’t ask ANY.
Just wait till this hardcore muther fuking American hero starts parading holding Ron Paul’s hand in the air for President!!!
(ever noticed how many people say, “I don’t like Ron Paul’s policies but I agree with him on this point.” Or that point, or the point he makes tomorrow.
What exactly do you disagree with Ron Paul about? ??
Are you sure you disagree? Can you name a politician in the HISTORY of the United States that had more respect for the Constitution??
“What exactly do you disagree with Ron Paul about?”
Wow, you’re right, we’re just all making crazy uninformed choices out of knee jerk reactions initiated from our primitive brain stems. Caught me out!
“What exactly do you disagree with Ron Paul about?”
OK, Ok, I’ll try:
…hhhhmmm. Well, the gold standard for one. And his odd economic views that were dropped in broad agreement because they were not working, but that Paul, packages in a simplistic popularist message. It makes about as much sense as saying, “We didn’t have these problems when we rode horses!” Gold standard = kook, in my book.
The general dog-eat-dog Libertarian message as opposed to a well developed, responsible philosophy of “the public good.”
Sorry, more things… but lack of time… that’s a personal economic decision, not a comment on the worth of discussing Ron Paul.
Good to read RawStory to find out what Fox “news” is up to. Or let “The Daily Show,” make fun of it.
But folks! Please stop watching Murdoch’s TV stations. It is the same as feeding trolls on message boards. Boycott Fox… ALL FOX.
BECAUSE, every viewer adds to their ad revenue demographics. More money to Murdoch, and you’re giving moral support.
I’ll continue to watch it, it’s amusing and they won’t be going away anyway. Although I like MSNBC’s news, the fact is that 18 hours a day they re-run the same hardcore prison shows and that ‘molester guy’ over and over and over and over again, plus their news is mostly misdirection anyway. Boycott FOX because they say what you don’t want to hear, and watch MSNBC, because after all, GE has made so many wonderful components for our nuclear arsenal, they bring good things to living and make big buck from death. They’re all the same, none of them question the war lest it be some token bit to prop up the roles they play. The debate of the day is torture, even though that’s all over and the war is not. Give your money to GE, that’s so much better than Murdoch, lol!
It is good we are not being conned by our media so much anymore. We are not giving our power away, or being so trusting… Think about 9/11 Three buildings came down, only two planes..It is good americans are demanding the truth..
we all must understand
that these republican assholes
have NOTHING altruistic to bring to
american society, or the world.
they are ALL greed merchants
who want to get “government off our backs”
so as to enslave EVERYONE but the very rich
to greedy facist ends.
the only way they can get a near majority,
or to be in the fight (with democrats) is to parade issues of
gays, and illegal aliens, and racial hate,
to ensnare the stupid bigots of the south,
and other areas.
let’s all be clear on this:
republicans are the enemy of mankind and the planet Earth.
they want only to unleash corporations on the people
for Incredible profits. the only thing that stands in their
way is an informed electorate (see: democrats) that
won’t allow the american slave state to be enstated.
these republicans are truly evil.
we all saw what bush and cheney did.
they have NO leg to stand on.
they are truly evil.
if you don’t believe me,
work three minimum wages jobs,
and try to survive.
america is being overrun by facists.
these republicans should be killed off, once, and for all time.
the future will look back on these american republicans,
and wonder - what the fuck were they thinking?
history will be aghast.
Jesse Ventura is a big man on the inside, more so than the outside. It was great that the Fox weasel boy finally got up and left.
Kilmeade is the biggest piece of crap, he invites a guest on the show then tries to talk over the guest. One of the biggest things Jesse said and so far has been overlooked here is - “the CIA has plants in all state governments”. WTF!!! What is the CIA doing infiltrating our state governments??? Jesse should know what is going on as an ex-governor. The Fox Noise guys are nothing but propaganda tools for the neo-cons in the Tri-lateral commission.
You can’t argue with Jesse Ventura! Only time Fox is worth watching!
Jesse is a hero. But I worry about him. He’s out there swinging alone. Clearly he’s under tremendous stress. Wish someone credible would back him up. Guess they don’t have the guts.
The USA is a beast and Brian Killmead is a mere pimple on the ass of the beast. Jessie, tell them about Jones’ peer reviewed paper on nano-thermite found in WTC dust.
I can’t believe anyone would believe anything Ventura says. He steals votes from the Democratic Party like Nader and McKinney and plus he’s an egotist and in it for himself! Even if he’s right about torture, he’s wrong about everything else. Sad to have to school you Jesse, but there’s only two political parties in the US so get used to it.
alansmithee: Steals votes? only two political parties in US? There might be only “one” left as the GOP crumbles into itself. Right about torture but wrong about asking questions? OK, do you yearn for authority? Need someone to think for you? You probably don’t even believe that water burns! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230344285918&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:Watchlink:middle:us
We need to Jesse in congress..Bet you would shake them up ..It is good to see someone with courage speaking for basic rights and not being intimidated by republicans at fox.
