Pakistani president: Osama bin Laden is dead

Two weeks ago, Pakistan President Asif Ali Zadari suggested that Osama bin Laden might be dead, saying that U.S. and Pakistani intelligence agencies had been unable to detect any sign of the world’s most wanted man since an audio recording of his voice was released in March.
Sunday morning, Zadari went further: “I don’t think he’s alive,” the president told NBC’s David Gregory. “I have a strong feeling and reason to believe that.” Zadari continued: “I have asked my counterparts in the American intelligence services and they haven’t heard [from] him in seven years.”
The CIA has not confirmed that the voice purporting to be bin Laden in the March recording was in fact bin Laden. U.S. officials have claimed that bin Laden could be hiding in the mountainous region along the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Just before saying that he believes bin Laden is dead, Zadari told Gregory that America has “been looking [in Afghanistan] for eight years… You lost him in Torah Borah, I didn’t.”
But Pakistan is still part of the worldwide “lookout brigade” for the alleged terrorism mastermind, Zadari said.

He refers to people in American intelligence services as his “counterparts”. If he were an American politician, I would assume that he just doesn’t know the meaning of the word, as is so often the case. Public figures of former British colonies though, having had the true meaning and correct usage of (English) words stressed from birth, are often slow to drop the habit. Given this, I assume he knows the meaning of the word and has made a slip.
Like Goldstein in Orwell’s 1984, Osama bin Laden, the former(?) CIA asset, can never be allowed to die. Even the “liberal” Obama understands that. How else can we build our pipeline from the Caspian Sea through Afghanistan? The dispute between Bush and Obama is over whether to steal Iraqi oil or Caspian Sea oil.
It took me awhile to return to this headline after logging in. It’s so confusing…
But the Pakistani President is really repeating old news. When OBL’s 2001-2002 death is confirmed, the old Bush Administration will be questioned whether they knew he died back then (they did), and then someone must ask the question: why did the US government maintain the myth that he was still around and claiming “responsibility” for the 9/11 attacks? The government, will, of course, claim ignorance about knowing, which will be another lie.
Every once in a while, Bush spoke the truth, if only by mistake. When he said that “I really don’t care much” about where OBL is, he was leaking out the fact that he knew that OBL was already dead, but couldn’t say it outright, because of all of the political capital he could spend by lying about OBL continuing to be a threat, that he was still at large, etc.
And then we must call into question all of the media leaks and fuzzy films and doctored voice recordings that kept the myth of a living OBL continuing through the years. We’ll be asking, “Who set up this propaganda?” And of course, the Pentagon and the Intelligence community and all of the Bushies will say, “Who, me?” One big lie after another.
Oh. And no one will prosecute. No one will be accountable for practicing propaganda on US soil, which is a violation of law. No one. Holder, again, has the job of protecting criminals from prosecution, not prosecuting them.
His wife, Benizar Bhuto announced on a David Frost interview over two years ago that Osama was dead. Two months later she was assassinated. The US war machine is fighting a non existent enemy. The Bush/ Cheney Administration was totally involved with the 911 attacks. We must demand a full investigation. I truly doubt it will ever happen.
Then President Asif Ali Zadari may soon meet the same fate as his wife…?

That’s funny. I seem to remember reading a news story a couple years ago about how bin Laden died on December 16th, 2001. Apparently, there were witnesses at his funeral, but then again, it could just be propaganda.
The Eastern world has known for years that Boogeyman Bin Laden is dead. Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto publicly admitted this over a year and a half ago, just weeks before she was killed. Somehow the CIA and US press have conveniently ignored this FACT that every other intelligence agency in the world acknowledges.
The government needs a monster to scare the children with to keep them in line. When the Nazis were defeated, the threat quickly switched to the Commies. The military industrial complex joyfully cashed in on over forty years of cold war. Communism fell, the monster under the bed became Hussein. Hussein was defeated by Bush I, then executed by Bush II. So who’s next? The CIA and Pentagon need Bin Laden to be alive so they can keep the citizens scared. If they admit he’s dead, who will be our newest boogeyman?
We are without a doubt living under a Plutocratic CFR elitist Federal Reserve tyranny.
As with any crime the WTC debacle need only be l;ooked at from one angle…….WHO GAINED (Profitted) from the attacks. I personally believe our economy was a prime reason 9-11 happened as a means to prop it up. They (the Banksters) saw an economic storm brewing and needed to take action. With most of the media controlled as well as our justice system being virtually locked down from any real investigation, they figured it would be relatively easy to cover up, however they underestimated the web. Still yet, so far they are getting away with murder and genocide.
There have been so may lies it’s hard to untangle the web of deceit.
They should all be hung, Democrats and Republicans alike!
It’s kind of funny how their boogeyman is dead and they are nowhere near completing the task of securing the region so that they can take the oil. So the CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN is just changing which poor brown country we’re focusing on. That’s like changing the TV channel instead of turning off the TV. I must be racist per Janeane Garofalo, because anything critical of the current administration is racist.
Had we been able to, we would have attacked Iran by now. At least they’re safe, for now. The U.S. would be foolish to make such a move right now.
I think China is just waiting for the U.S. to fail so that they can move up.
